My Job here was to collect the timeline from the editor, media from the offline assistant editor, and execute the revisions from the producer-all while making sense of the work.
In the show, all the graphic movement, HR archive video, and all blurs in the 1 hour and 45 min documentary was hand place and executed by me.
This was a great three/four month project to stay tied to. A lot of the media was delivered differently from the professionals due to online transfers being pulled in from around the globe. All sorts of qualities, frame rates, and capture rates all needed to be synced and flow correctly throughout the timeline, while also maintaining the editors, producers, directors vision.

I worked with Jupiter Entertainment to produce this show for Oxygen. We, at Jupiter, have had this show for many years. Many of the problems occurring with this show have smoothed out over the years. The trouble with this show is taking all the media throughout the years and keeping it maintained and usable to current broadcast standards.
I loved working with my team with this show. My team was comfortable with this show and we were in good relations with the producers and editors. It's hard to find shows that worked this smoothly.

I personally worked with all the High Res material, maintaining color and quality. As well as all legal notes throughout the show. It being about Kenda's cases, sometimes we would come across still present legal cases. So legal blurs were also needed to be taken into effect.
This show never ceased from being interesting. Every time it came across my table there would be a new problem. From intense blurs, CG covers, legal problems - all of it. But it made me work to be a better editor today.

This being a season 1, it came with a world of problems on production and post. Learning curves and growing pains for everyone. It was and the pain was all mutal
At the time, production was local. Having the post production team that close to location saved time and also allowed actual background for the team.

TV One is a premier entertainment network dedicated to showcasing authentic Black culture, storytelling, and experiences. Through original series, documentaries, and engaging programming, TV One delivers content that reflects the diversity, talent, and voices of the African American community.
Fatal Attraction was a fun show to work on. We were able to get a professional production team behind it, allowing transfer to always be a breeze. All effects were managed in house, allowing all the AE's to expand their knowledge so that the Online Editor only had to work on color.
This was a fun show for me, I was always able to throw the fun challenges to one of my crew and let them really test their skills. It was a great exercise for the crew.
